The Links 2003 Pro Distance Mod

This is a mod for Links 2003 that will give you club distances that are more in line with how far the PGA Tour pros hit the ball. This mod is a modified version of the 1.07 version of Links 2003. It has all of the new features and bug fixes that 1.07 has in addition to the new club distances. Here is a chart of the maximum club distances that the Pro Distance mod is capable of:

This mod was created by JamesLC and I (Benjamin Miller).
Known Issues
1. The distance increase only applies to the Classic Swing. It will not
increase the distance for Real Time Swing or Powerstroke.
2. Computer players do not seem to be able to take advantage of the distance
increase.

READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING:
1. You must have Links 2003 version 1.07 installed in order
for the Mod to work. Go to the main
page if you need to download the 1.07 patch.
2. Excluding the uninstall components, this mod installs 2
files on your computer: LinksPD.exe and an updated version of LinksMMIII.exe.
This new version of LinksMMIII.exe installs into its own subdirectory (LinksPD)
so that it does not interfere with the normal 1.07 version.
3. You must create a new player to use with the Pro Distance
mod. If your player was created with Links 2003 versions 1.00-1.07, it will not
work with the Pro Distance Mod. If your player was created with the 2.01 version
of the Pro Distance Mod, you should be able to continue using that player
without issues.

Installation Instructions:
1. Download and execute LINKSPDMOD.EXE to begin the installation sequence.
2. The default installation directory is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Links 2003. If you have installed Links 2003 into a different directory, direct the installer to that directory. If you do not, the mod will not work!
3. Double click on the Links 2003 Pro Distance icon on the desktop (or in the Links 2003 folder in the start menu) to run the The Links 2003 Pro Distance Mod!
